A week in pictures #Handmade Monday

This week I attended the 'Tower Barzaar' at The Engineshed, Lincoln University. This is something I have had a hand in organising. Lincoln was in need of a decent handmade and vintage fair, and this proved to be the ideal location. The first one started in January and was great, the second was on Saturday, but unfortunately footfall was down, mainly due to the weather I feel. The poor swans out on the Brayford were actually bashing through the iced up water to get to their safe haven on the steps! Here are some of the lovely stalls who attended:

Dotty Pig - Unique Jewellery

Handmade By Claire - Cards For All Occasions

Sugar And Spice And All Things Nice - Baby And Kids Goods

ZukieStyle - Bespoke Fashion And Pet Accessories
The next one will be on Saturday 3rd March. They are every 1st Saturday of the month.
I have also begun to make the half choke chain Martingale dog collars, after a special request, I decided to order extra chains to offer these permanently. Only two uploaded to the site so far, but for an idea this is how they look! They are suitable for dog's who are that little bit stronger but still want to look fashionable :)

British Pride Olympic Themed Martingale Chain Dog Collar £15

Plain Black Martingale Chain Collar £10

And after showing you my new tartan ranges last week, here is Harry looking very cosy in the snow in his tartan coat!

Getting ready for the 'W' word....

Brrrrrrr! It's a bit nippy! But Harry is nice and snug in his new coat!

'I love Britain' lead shown can also be purchased from our online store

That was my week in pictures! Hope you are enjoying the snow, stay safe and have fun!

Oh that is so annoying when all your hard work is foiled by the weather but at least the stall holders will understand that. It looks as though your stall holders are of really high quality, just wish I was nearer :)

You're welcome!
Yes, I've tried to be quite strict with the stallholders, although having said that there is always one that's not upto standard or not handmade that sneaks in somehow! Would have loved to have had you on board if you lived closer :)

What a smart fellow Harry looks. Looks like a great week and your stall looks lovely. Hope you have a good week.

It certainly looks well organised, all the stalls are full and tidy etc., What a shame we can't predict weather 6 months in advance. Also as Caroline has mentioned, these two or three months are usually lean ones anyway. Don't let it put you off organising more, looks you have a knack there.

I live in Lincoln and was bored on Saturday, wish I had popped down to the Tower Bars, it looks very good. I'll have to remember to go along to the next one. What time is it on?

A shame about the lower footfall - hopefully it'll be better next time. Love your big banner across the front of your table.

Harry's coat is so cute and he looks very smart in it. Your stall looks really smart. Sorry you didn't get more people - the weather wouldn't help. Mich x

I Love that British Pride Dog Collar, I will have to show my sister as it would really suit her dog!

I am sorry to read that the weather affected your fair but fingers crossed for March!

Oh, that was fun! I loved the photos, especially Harry. But when I saw his picture, it made me think of a story from my childhood called "Harry the Dirty Dog". Have you ever heard of it? You should look it up, it was a very cute book. :)

Thank you for the lovely comments :')
Kayleigh - it is on the 1st Saturday of every month 10-5, although we did pack up at 4pm this last one as was so quiet :(
Wendy - thank you, it's a vistaprint jobby. I upload my logo to my cards and marketing material.
Jo- This particular collar is very popular, I think it is because it is quite unisex, let your sister know it is also available as a normal adjustable one too :0)

Susie- I shall have a look for that book! Thank you!
Ali- Harry has got used to been my model now, he is such a poser! Think he looks forward to my new things!!!x
